INCIDENCE THAT OCCUR TO BOTH GENDER, BOTH IS BEING ADDRESSED MOSTLY IN GIRLS.

Are you a rape victim? Do you know anyone who have been involve in a rape case? How do you educate kid or adult on ways in preventing rape case? Have heard and read several news report on rape cases being told, we have various ways in which people share their experience and perception. This night while seeing the repeat of your view programme being broadcast on the television set, the hot topic for today was #No to rape in Lagos there was a specialist on set, question were being asked, but what really caught my attention was the caller that called in and complain about people being silent on a boy being the victim of rape, and i remember the book i read titled “Fifty shades of grey” in the book the boy child was the victim of the rape case, the rapist was is adopted mother friend and he was silent about it, she assaulted him continuously till he grew up which affected him a lot, he started seeing ladies as sex object he has a specification, most writers and motivators always talk ab

REQUEST ON TAKING IN KIDS AS A RESULT OF RENDERING ASSITANTCE.

Do you have kids of your own, that you would prefer to send down to your parent or relatives, on request or other reason best known to you? This morning after taking my pupils the first subject, a teacher came to call me, that the head teacher needs my attention, i tidied up what i was doing and inform my H.O.D that my attention is being requested upon, i left for the office. On getting  their i knocked and enter, she said Idowu are you less busy now, because i would appreciate it if you follow this girl home referring to a pupil, i then ask the girl if she knows the way to there house and where they stay, she mention an area am familiar with, i agreed to follow her home, with the reason being that she can not stay in the school premises without her school uniform, my head teacher thank me and gave me fare for transport. On our way i ask for her name and instructed her to notify me earlier if we need to turn right or left, or cross the other side of the road, she said ok and com

SCAM TRICKS YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH.

Image
You sure have heard of experience of scam shared by friends or family members, before it happen to you in person right? This morning while I was busy tying my headgear to make it look good being jummah day and sallah fever was still on me, i was still busy with my headgear, when i got a tone notification on my phone, was wondering who could send a text message to me very early this morning or service provider, on the completion of my headgear tying i decided to check who the message sender is and the content of the message before settling for my breakfast being the first meal of the day that I have learnt not to ever miss for anything in the world. Low and behold I got a repeat of the text message I got on the 12th of June this year, first sender was one Peter David, because i choose not to respond to their message i guess that prompted the sender to use another number and another name which is Emmanuel Victor. Is it that this people don't learn to try another strategy despi

POWER OF KIDS ON CAUSING GRIEVIANCE AMONG ADULT.

Have you ever had issue with an adult as a result of report given to them by younger kids. On this faithful day i observe that one of my class pupil, younger brother came to the assembly with much snacks which i was sure they bought it with their feeding money, i took the younger brother to the head teacher office and explained what i noticed, she then ask the boy where he got the snacks from, he said his elder brother bought it on their way to school, i volunteer to get the brother, because he is in my class. I told him the head teacher wanted to see him, on getting to the office, he was asked where they got the snacks from he said his mum gave it to them, i put it to him that he was lying that their parent can never give him such snacks to school, they decided to ask the younger brother in his presence and he confess again that is brother bought it on their way to school, the elder brother still bent on lying, i took the snacks from them and told him that am going to dispose it

PREVENTING A HOME FROM BREAKING.

Have you ever being caught up in an act of trying to save a home from breaking and not helping your fellow human? That explain my ordeal, i have this neighbor that just moved into the compound this year, they are my fellow brother and sister in Islam, from the little knowledge i have about the husband he is stonehearted due to the little conversation i had with him few months back. His wife gave birth this year to their first baby, this evening while i was relaxing and reading my Quran i heard a knock on the door, i ask who was there but i got no response, i went back to my reading, i heard the knock for the second time, i ask who was there i got no response after few minutes, i decided to open the door to see if it was my youngers ones that was knocking on the door, to my greatest surprise, it was the new mother, she handed me a bag to help her keep through whispering. Guess she didn't want her mother-in-law to hear because she is still around for the omugo, i tried asking

ON MAKING ATTEMPT TOWARDS EXERCISING ONES CIVIC RIGHT.

Do you ever try pushing forward towards exercising your civic rights, even when you are exhausted? I have been willing to go down to the INEC office in my local government  to get the  transfer of my PVC card down to Lagos State and my local government, but it was futile. I had once sent mail to INEC concerning the issue but I didn’t get a response which made me believe that the issue will not be treated. On this faithfully day, it was my class turn to go for the resource center to get material for the class apparatus, i had the plan of stopping by at the INEC office to lodge a complain and see what they can do. After getting the pupils busy before going to the resource center, I set out for the resource center, on getting to the resource center, i was too busy with drawing and by the time i finished  my  work i became exhausted and was extremely tired. I wonder if  l could get  any strength  to the INEC(Independent  National Electoral Commission) office again to complain, but

ON MY FIRST VISIT TO THE GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Have heard people complain alot about General hospital, while some sing their praise. I know you might have tried General hospital and if not you might choose to try it base on how light the case might be. For the past 26 year’s of my life have never been to a General hospital for complain, not because I don’t get sick, but because I don’t see reason to do so due to the stress people go through and cases I have heard of, for some days have being feeling feverish, I decided to do self medication , by taking malaria drug with pain relieve, but after the completion of the dosage, I still don’t feel alright, it was as if i didn’t use anything after two days, it wasn’t getting any better. I hate the idea of me being admitted at the hospital, my boss notice I wasn’t feeling alright and ask what the matter is, and i responded that I am feeling feverish, but have used some drugs, and am not getting any better, she then said I should visit hospital, I told her I had intention on doing tha

GOING BACK TO WHERE WE WERE ABOUT OUR LANGUAGE.

GOING BACK TO WHERE WE WERE ABOUT OUR LANGUAGE. Left to me, I don' t think that kids should be taught there language at tender age because I believe it will spoil their spoken English. Sometimes last week my school headmistress  informed us during the staff meeting, the report of the meeting held with deputy governor of Lagos state, other dignitaries and principals of schools. Guess what the reason of the meeting was? Well they were informed to bring back Yoruba language to the pupils on the assembly ground and in classrooms every Wednesdays due to the fact that most pupils can’t communicate very we'll in Yoruba. According to what I heard, Yoruba’s have neglected their language and culture so we embrace other culture and languages. So i started making preparation to conduct the devotion for the following week and memorizing the second stanza and pledge in Yoruba, i was able to deliver despite knowing that my voice is out of the league when singing, I wa

EXPLORING THE WORLD OF FOOD.

EXPLORING THE WORLD OF FOOD. You know what they say about curiosity? So my curiosity  for the taste of my newly found Moroccan dish named “COUSCOUS”. Actually have seen people come to buy it at food store most especially the Hausa, so I ask what it was and I was told it a good meal, on this faithful day I made up my mind that I was going to have it for breakfast, and here the journey begins, I search for it at a nearby store but I couldn’t get it anywhere I was told they have sold the last one, while on the search i went on-line on what it was processed from guess what? I found out that it was an extract of semolina, I had to call my kid brother, shout out to OLAMIDE and Mummy, because i ask him to meet her at her shop on his way home, to borrow money from her to get it, I promise to refund it when they get home, I went online to find out about is preparation. Just then I saw several write-ups and videos on how best to prepare and enjoy it.

LIFE OF AN INSTRUCTOR.

LIFE OF AN INSTRUCTOR. If there is anything I don't ever wish for while growing up is being a teacher, I look at the stress and getting pupils to do what is the expected of them how strenuous it can be, but you know the saying "Man Propose God Dispose". Although I taught during my national youth service corps but it was senior secondary, unlike now that is the primary, that someone needs to be careful with the way you react when it comes to complain and taking of excuses by the pupils.   So today, at school my class prophet comes to school with Eba and soup, although it sound awkward to some people but to those of us that grew up without silver spoon is no big deal, the poor boy soup poured inside is school bag, after he stood up to submit his note leaving his bag under the desk, while his seat partner is unaware, the table was shook and the bag fell down mistakenly, I could feel is pain from is look I had to beg him not to get upset and see that he
