DISCOVERY AND IMPORTANCE OF BEAD.

Bead is seen as one of the earliest form of trade in human race. Assumption is that bead trading help humans developed different languages; beads are been used and traded for most of human history. Report shows that the oldest beads found till date is at Lebanon, bead such as; polychrome grass bead, semi-precious stone beads, metal bead, wooden beads and bone bead are said to originate from India.

Bead is said to be use in different culture from centuries. Bead can be said to be used as money and worn as jewelry to bring wisdom and fortune to the person wearing it.

Bead can be described as a small, decorative object that has various shapes and sizes, is made from different material such as stone, bone, shell, glass, plastic, wood or pearl; with a small hole which is being drilled for threading or stringing either at the end or at the middle of it.

Beadwork is a form of art or craft: making object with beads. Beads are said to be used in many ways, such as jewelry which can be worn around the neck, toys, flower vase and several other things. Beads can be woven together with specialized thread, strung onto thread or soft, flexible wire, or adhered to a surface.
It is noted that in various parts of the world, beads are used for symbolic purposes, for example:

Being used for prayer or devotion is known as Rosary by Roman Catholics, Misbaha by Muslims.
Being used as currency: Aggrey beads from Ghana.
Being used for gaming: Owari beads for Mankala.

In lieu of this, I can then say that bead, as come to stay, in one way or another in the world today, as an essential tools.
