2020 WAS ACTUALLY MY YEAR OF SURPRISE.

 Who plan their proposal without knowing?

Hmmm! 

I was suppose to meet with my friend Shayo pre - covid but have been busy with decorations. 

Covid happen along the line we keep postponing, around October I called my friend to make arrangement and let us hang out against November, she agreed we fixed a date which was later shifted to 13th of December 2020, my friend called again to ask if it can be shifted forward but I told her No, on the 13th after first asalatu I change to a top, I went to asalatu with and set out for the eatery we were to meet.

On getting there I called her, she ask me to come to the seventh continent area which is like a vip section, in my mind I was like am not that buzz up, when I saw her we started gisting and she ask that we placed order, the waiter come over with catalogue of drink, I order for water while going through the menu we finally settled for Chinese, while waiting for the order we continue gisting, then I heard my boyfriend sister voice I was wow when I look at my side and I saw her, right there I knew it was a setup, and he was right behind me, on his knee, with a cake and ring asking me to marry him.

It was the best feeling, I was confused at first because I wasn't expecting it and could not believe that I was set up.

                   GOING BACK TO WHERE WE WERE ABOUT OUR LANGUAGE. Left to me, I don' t think that kids should be taught there language at tender age because I believe it will spoil their spoken English. Sometimes last week my school headmistress  informed us during the staff meeting, the report of the meeting held with deputy governor of Lagos state, other dignitaries and principals of schools. Guess what the reason of the meeting was? Well they were informed to bring back Yoruba language to the pupils on the assembly ground and in classrooms every Wednesdays due to the fact that most pupils can’t communicate very we'll in Yoruba. Have you ever eating beans prepared for twin before ( Ewa ibeji)? Do you know the type of beans they use in preparing it? On this faithful  day I needed to buy some food stuff at the store on getting to the store while going through my list and calling out names with the measurement  that I wanted to get, a woman join in and order for Ewa otili ( Pigeon pea), my inquisitive mind would not let me rest so I ask the woman who is making the purchase what is used for, she told me is beans and its okay she left after her purchase and bid me bye. I went to meet the lady attending to me and started asking her, Me: What type of beans is this? Seller: It is called Ewa otili, It is a sweet beans? Me: Does it take time to prepare? Seller: No, if you are using gas under 1hour is ready. Me: Okay.
